Alissa Tyler
Land Guide & Yoga Instructor
Alissa believes teaching Yoga is a sacred honor. As a former automotive journalist, producer and television host of Cars From A Woman’s Perspective, Alissa found yoga after moving to Sedona in 2016. It was the day after returning from a weekend stunt driving workshop, that she made the big move from Denver to Sedona. After a few years of culture shock, Alissa learned the power in finding personal peace versus chasing every, fun, squirrel. Her classes combine her outgoing personality with an innate, quiet, inner truth. Teaching traditional yoga poses, she specializes in focusing on improving your life, by using your body to drive in manual mode, like a vehicle! She acknowledges both our material and ethereal sides for bringing balance that feels fun and legit. Expect a few automotive-related metaphors and a down-to-earth approach outside on the vortex.

Chuck Tyler
Land Guide and Yoga Instructor
As a former competitive gymnast of 10 years, and martial artist for 5 years, Chuck discovered yoga in 2003 and has had a regular practice ever since. As a certified yoga instructor, he brings his lifetime of physical training into his peaceful and thoughtful practice, focusing on presence, breath and awareness. Chuck is also a survivor of over a decade of ongoing childhood trauma, as well as a published author of “Taking It Back, Life Beyond Childhood Sexual Abuse”. As a trauma recovery coach, he thanks yoga for being a foundational part of his recovery process, and brings his lifetime of trauma recovery experience to his Trauma Release Yoga workshops, where anyone is welcome. He believes it is an honor and a privilege to both coach trauma survivors, and to teach yoga, and that a regular yoga practice helps you bring your truest, strongest self into every day. We are in our place of greatest strength when we are in our place of greatest balance.
