Our Sedona vortexes radiate about 22 miles each, making all of Sedona a huge overlapping vortex. These are powerful earth energies that will naturally harmonize & clear your chakras, recalibrate your system and countless health benefits of yoga with feet on the earth. Keep yourself in tune with Mother Nature’s heart beat with this empowering, super-charging morning flow with the most spectacular views of Sedona all around you -juniper trees, red rocks and mesas at every angle. You’ll meet other conscious beings sharing the joys of nature and yoga! This class is suitable for ALL-LEVELS! Beginners are welcome!!!
We are permitted for 7 by the USFS Coconino National Forest as step-on guides. Our instructor will jump into your call or you will follow our instructor in your own vehicles or perhaps carpool to the trailhead. The meet up location will be at Aumbase. Please let us know if you do not have a vehicle. We are not allowed to shuttle guest to trailhead location!
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to session start to get settled in. We are not able to hold the session start for participants who do not arrive on time. Bring water, a hat for sun protection, and decent walking shoes.

When purchasing for multiple people, you MUST add each guest’s name to the attendance list after registration.
Your group’s registration will not be complete until all guest names are added.

Please note that all instructors will meet you at our Studio. From there, you will carpool with your instructor to the trailhead. Before your class, please purchase a trailhead parking pass at the Visitors Center uptown—you’ll need this for parking at the land location.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to help with traffic & finding meet location. If you need to rent our outdoor yoga mats for class, they are $5 a person (cash or card). Your instructor will have yoga mats with her. We will arrange a carpool situation once everyone arrives.
Be sure to bring plenty of water, sunscreen, wear comfy tennis shoes or hiking sandals and dress in layers…especially in the colder months.
Class start times vary throughout the year from 6 AM to 8 AM to align with weather and seasonal sunrise times. Please check our current schedule for exact start times.
CANCELATION POLICY
Because we are limited but blessed to bring 7 guest on the Vortex for our Rise & Shine Yoga we require a 48 hour cancellation notice to recieve a full refund. We have this policy to allow others to book the class in replace of your cancelations. If you need to cancel please go to your email find your reservation. From there you have the option to cancel your spot in the class. Next please email us letting us know you removed yourself from the class, so we can make sure another guest has an opportunity for those coveted 7 spots.
Jax Harrington
Land Guide
Jax Harrington is a transformative somatic healer and yoga instructor whose practice spans over eight years and 5,000 teaching hours. Her comprehensive expertise encompasses multiple disciplines including Vinyasa, Hatha, Gentle Stretch, and Aerial Yoga, alongside specialized training in Breathwork, Guided Meditation, and Thai Massage. As both practitioner and guide, Jax creates an immersive experience that weaves together movement, breath, and energetic mindfulness.
Having undergone her own profound transformation—losing 130 pounds through yoga and nutrition—Jax brings deep personal insight to her teaching. This journey enriches her understanding of both the physical and emotional aspects of wellness, allowing her to guide others through their own transformative experiences with genuine empathy and expertise.
Jax's teaching methodology centers on the synchronization of breath with mindful movement, helping students release emotional blockages stored within the body's tissues. Her sessions are thoughtfully crafted to encourage introspection and self-discovery, guiding participants beyond habitual thought patterns toward a deeper understanding of their authentic selves. Through this practice, students learn to shed limiting beliefs and discover renewed clarity, purpose, and joy.
As a certified wellness coach specializing in self-care, sustainable transformation, and nutrition, Jax offers a holistic approach that addresses both physical and emotional well-being. Her foundational teaching style welcomes practitioners of all levels, creating a safe and inclusive space where everyone is invited to explore their potential. Whether working with individuals, couples, or groups, she tailors each session to meet specific needs while fostering an environment of self-compassion and growth.

Liliana Salas
Land Guide and Yoga Instructor
Born and raised in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, Liliana Salas had her first 90-day mindfulness meditation immersion in 2015 led by Mickela Rae. In 2019, Liliana started a committed asana practice at Sukha Yoga in Austin TX, and came to understand yoga as a lifestyle.
In 2021, she became a certified yoga instructor through the School Yoga Institute in shamanic healing yoga program in the Sacred Valley, Peru.
Liliana considers herself passionate about beautification and the healing arts. In sessions, Liliana holds space for a collective meditation; encouraging an intuitive warm up, continuing with a traditional inspired vinyasa flow, incorporating meditation, pranayama and asana into a holistic practice that cultivates unity and wellness in the community.
As a profession, Liliana is a licensed esthetician that understands the importance of the environment in order to reach a relaxation state.
With a background of classical violin; Liliana also offers sessions of sound healing baths and electronic music sets, as a believer of music as a creator of a joyful space.
Yolanda Curtis
Land Guide and Yoga Instructor
Yolanda is a Yoga Instructor, Artist, Poet, Reiki Master, Sound Healer, Shaman and Intuitive Wellness Living Coach in Sedona who is passionate about weaving yoga with nature, music, elemental balancing and energy healing to empower people to develop a sustainable yoga practice that can bring immense calm, balance and clarity into living a joyous life of higher states of freedom and love.
After living in Los Angeles for 13 years as a high level fashion designer, she discovered that Yoga kept her life balanced and calm in the midst of the chaos of the city. She also realized that practicing yoga in nature has powerful healing benefits and so has developed her meditations and visualizations inspired from her daily sacred time out in nature. Nature can be a powerful bridge back to our own infinite, divine nature and an infinite well of peace within. All of the enlightened poets wrote of their inspiration in Nature and all of the insights they received.
Since 2017, the focus of her teaching has been to provide a high vibrational yoga experience with many styles of Yoga, Healing and Breath Techniques, with Sound Healing for a TOTAL mind/body/spirit balance mainly focusing on: breath, yin yoga, yoga nidra, vinyasa, hatha, kundalini, meditation, sound healing, mantra, ceremony, self empowerment, sankalpa (intention) and self inquiry. She utilizes the unique practices of the Japanese, Native Americans, Mayan Medicine People, Sufi, Vedic, Himalayan Masters mixed with revelations from her own break through experiences to guide students towards awakening to their deepest Truth and highest vibrational alignment to live a heart centered JOYOUS life.
Connecting to the Elements and the Earth are the keys to finding balance from the inside out. She is passionate about helping people develop a fun and sustainable at home, outside or in the studio consistent yoga practice.
